Agroindustrial Company MAIS

The Agroindustrial Company MAIS is a well-known agricultural producer in Ukraine. The company has been in the market for 27 years, developing business in five different production areas. The main activities include but are not limited to seed processing, apple farming, juice making, walnut crafting, and livestock keeping.

With 1,100 employees and 10,000 ha of arable land MAIS produces up to 900,000 units of corn, sunflower, soybean and rapeseed, 8,000 tons of apples, and 200,000 walnut seedlings.

For many years MAIS has been a pioneer of the seed industry of Ukraine. Each year MAIS also grows and harvests fresh apples from its 170 ha orchard. Fruit are stored in storage with controlled atmosphere and thus preserve their freshness for up to 12 months after harvesting. 

MAIS both sells raw fruit to distributors and other market players and processes apples into cold-pressed juice.
