Kryvyi Rih is a city situated in the heart of Ukraine that is considered to be an industrial pearl of the country. The city has acquired its worldwide fame due to the vast iron ore deposits it possesses. This is one of the richest regions of Ukraine in terms of natural deposits.
The powerful enterprises and the deepest mines of Europe are concentrated in this city, as well as gigantic open pits and unique landfall landscapes. A unique system representing mountain landscapes and marvelous moonlight sceneries has been artificially created in the middle of the steppe. It is a unique region created both by nature and people.
Even though the city bears the spirit of industrial production, you can find some unique sites of natural and cultural heritage here.
