POLYPHONY

The mission of the Polyphony Project is to explore, preserve and present the living musical folklore of Ukrainian villages. In addition to recording the intangible cultural treasures of the Ukrainian peasantry using state-of-the-art technology, our priority is to make this heritage of unparalleled value accessible to contemporary society. Having accumulated over centuries, this legacy is finally available online in an organised form.

LIZHNYK

Lizhnyk (woolen blanket with authentic ornamentation) in the second half of the twentieth century became a brand representing Hutsulshchyna and Ukraine in general in the world. If we talk about the origins of the lizhnyk, then they date back to the early Middle Ages.

SLOVIANSK AND KOSIV CERAMICS

In 2018 project started on saving the 2 traditions of Ukrainian ceramic art from Kosiv and Sloviansk that is also aimed to facilitate cultural dialogue between Western and Eastern Ukraine.
